Austin Free-Net offers free in-person workshops at four locations in Austin.
This program is funded and supported in part by the City of Austin through the Digital Inclusion Initiative.
Workshop Location & Times

Workshops happen every week unless canceled because of bad weather, holidays, or instructor availability.

Topics may change, and lessons may take longer if the group needs more time.

Workshops are one-hour group classes that teach basic smartphone and computer skills and online safety.

These classes are not one-on-one, and personal help cannot be provided.

For individual help, please visit one of our computer labs for walk-in help or call (512) 236-8225 to schedule a one-hour private lesson.

Complete the Registration Form
Fill out the one-time registration form to become an Austin Free-Net client. It only takes a few minutes.
Attend the Workshop
Show up at the scheduled time. No need to sign up each week! Just make sure you fill out the registration form before your first class.
Fill Out the Exit Survey
At the end of each workshop, we'll ask you to fill out a short exit survey. This helps us improve future workshops and make sure we're providing the best experience for you!
