Locations

Austin Free-Net provides free computer access and education to the Austin community. We have a large open-access lab where all community members are welcome at the DeWitty Center. We also provide training in sites around the city. See our training calendar too!

Free Computer Tutoring from Austin Free-Net:
Austin Free-Net’s free computer education program occurs in five locations.

Community Technology Access Lab, Room 209
Clients get help learning computer basics by achieving the goals they set for themselves. Our trainers help clients create resumes, look for jobs and find help online, create and use email accounts, connect with friends and family using Facebook – and much more! There is no registration, appointment or ID required.

Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH)

We serve people experiencing homelessness at the ARCH by offering access to computers and Internet, as well as one-on-one coaching to help clients achieve the goals they set for themselves. 
Monday: 7 a.m. – 10 a.m., 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Tuesday: 7 a.m. – 10 a.m., 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Wednesday: 7 a.m. – 10 a.m., 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Thursday: 7 a.m. – 10 a.m., 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Friday: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Blackland Neighborhood Center

At this City of Austin Healthy Neighborhood Program Site, Austin Free-Net trainers and volunteers are available for one-on-one tutoring on a drop-in basis. We help clients create resumes, look for jobs and find help online, create and use email accounts, connect with friends and family using Facebook – and much more! There is no registration, appointment or ID required.

Conley-Guerrero Senior Activity Center

At this City of Austin Senior Activity Center, Austin Free-Net trainers work with seniors. We help clients create and use email accounts, search hobbies and social services on the Internet, download images and connect with friends and family using Facebook – and much more! There is no registration, appointment or ID required. 


Tuesday and Thursday:  1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (Computers are accessible even when trainers are not present, contact center for more information)

Trinity Center
